The average parked car sits completely unguarded for hours at a time — and most owners never find out until the damage is already done

GuardiLux is an AI parking guardian that installs in as little as 10 minutes — and it's already helping drivers watch over their cars day and night

The average parked car sits completely unguarded for hours at a time — and most owners never find out until the damage is already done

Picture this: you park in a lot, run into the store for ten minutes, and come back to a fresh dent in the door — no note, no witness, nothing. Or you wake up one morning to find your side mirror hanging by a wire after a completely quiet night in your own driveway.

It happens more often than most drivers realize. A car spends the vast majority of its life parked and unattended — in driveways, office lots, and street spaces — completely unmonitored. GuardiLux exists to change that, and here's exactly how it works.

a few problems you've probably run into

  • Someone hit your car — and you have no idea who?
  • Come back after a few days parked, only to find the battery drained?
  • Hardwire installs too much hassle, too much cost?
  • Left parked for days — will monitoring even still be running?

If even a few of these sound familiar, keep reading — this is exactly the problem GuardiLux is designed to solve.

why the cameras and alarms you already have keep letting you down

  • Standard dash cams that record 24/7 can drain a car battery dead within days
  • Hardwire installs mean cutting into a fuse box, or paying a professional
  • Basic loop recording overwrites the one clip you actually needed
  • Motion alerts that aren't smart enough — triggered by every leaf and passing shadow
  • No way to check in on your car remotely once you've walked away

It's like installing a security camera... that only works while you're home to watch it.

The technology behind 30-day standby protection

Instead of brute-force, always-on recording, GuardiLux is built around a low-power chip capable of AI time-lapse monitoring across three channels using as little as 200mW — while operating reliably across a wide temperature range, from -20°C up to 70°C, the kind of swing a car actually sees parked outdoors.

200mW as low as, in 3-channel AI time-lapse mode
-20°C – 70°C rated operating temperature range
30 Days up to, of standby parking guard
1 Second collision-triggered recording wake-up

Night vision runs on an IMX675 STARVIS 2 image sensor, so the low-light footage that matters most — a figure approaching at night, a door handle being tested in the dark — is actually usable. Connectivity is handled over 5.8GHz WiFi with full control from the companion app.

Three systems doing the actual watching

01 · All-Round AI Guard

Custom Security Zones, Every Angle Covered

Three-channel AI human detection keeps watch around the vehicle, and custom AI alert zones let you decide exactly which areas should trigger a warning — the driver's-side door, the space behind the bumper, or wherever matters most to you.

02 · Proximity Deterrence

AI Spots a Threat, the Strobe Fires First

When someone enters the alert zone and lingers for more than 5 seconds, GuardiLux first starts recording, then fires a strobe warning — flashing three times. Evidence first, deterrence second.

03 · Instant Evidence

1-Second Collision Wake-Up + Smart Evidence Compression

The moment an impact is detected, GuardiLux wakes and starts recording in about a second, then compresses the two minutes before impact into a 5-second lead-in and combines it with 15 seconds after — one complete evidence clip, automatically.

Example scenario — illustrative, not an actual customer account A car is parked overnight on a city street. Shortly after midnight, someone approaches and starts testing the door handle. The AI recognizes a person entering the defined alert zone and fires the strobe warning — all before anything is actually taken.

Two ways to power it — no hardwiring either way

External Battery Mode

Plug-and-play, with no impact on your car's starter battery. As long as you drive normally each day, a single charge keeps GuardiLux running for up to 3 straight days of standby guard.

OBD Power Mode

Draws power through the OBD port for extended standby — enough to keep GuardiLux watching your parked car for up to a full month without needing a separate charge.

Either way, there's no cutting into your car's wiring — it's plug-and-play. Actual install time depends mainly on how many camera channels you're running, covered below.

Meet GuardiLux

the smart way to guard a parked car
  • No-hardwire install — about 10 minutes for 2-channel (longer for 3-channel, which runs a rear camera cable)
  • Battery-friendly power, plug-and-play
  • 3-channel AI human detection
  • Custom AI alert zones you define yourself
  • Up to 30 days of standby parking guard
  • 1-second collision detection wake-up
  • Auto strobe warning on proximity detection
  • 5s-before + 15s-after auto evidence clip
  • Low-power chip — as low as 200mW, -20°C to 70°C
  • IMX675 STARVIS 2 night vision · 5.8GHz WiFi & app control
2-Channel: Front + Cabin 3-Channel: Front + Cabin + Rear

The 2-channel (front + cabin) setup needs no rear camera wiring and installs in about 10 minutes. The 3-channel (front + cabin + rear) setup requires running an extra cable to the rear camera, so installation takes longer.

The everyday moments GuardiLux is designed to catch

The Parking Lot Ding

A shopping-center fender-bender that would otherwise go unreported — instead caught on camera, with an automatically generated before-and-after clip clear enough to identify the other vehicle.

The Midnight Prowler

A figure lingers near the car after midnight — the AI flags it and fires the strobe warning before anything actually happens.

The Month-Long Business Trip

A car left at the airport for weeks on OBD power, still quietly monitored the entire time without needing a charge.

Your car is unguarded more hours than it isn't

Without a device like this

  • No evidence after unexplained damage
  • No way to check in on the car remotely
  • Battery drain trade-offs with always-on cameras
  • Ongoing low-grade anxiety about where you park

What GuardiLux changes

  • Automatic evidence clips when it actually matters
  • A strobe warning that deters trouble before it starts
  • Up to 30 days of standby watching
  • Simple, no-tools installation, either power mode
